Recently I went to Auckland for a mini holiday to visit a few of my best friends and I had the best time! It was the first time that I had really visited the city rather than just passing through. My trip basically consisted of art, coffee and sight seeing. Loved it all!!

"WHERE TO FROM HERE?"

When I went to Wellington for my school technology trip, we stopped off in Wanganui to look at this art gallery. Though small, this gallery was really appealing to me. The building was rich with culture and history and contained some of the most beautiful paintings. Inside it was all open planned but with little side rooms off the main room where each area of the gallery had it's own theme. My particular favourite sections was the black and white photography and the old paintings (see above and below). Anyway I just wanted to share these photos with you because I like the minimalistic feel to them... (sorry about the quality, I had to sneakily take photos with my phone)

AB WORK-OUT

Possibly some of the funniest things I have seen in months! These are just a few of my favourites... (I fully don't have a folder with an obsessive number of his drawings...) When I first saw one of Marc Johns drawings I literally sat there and laughed for 10 minutes. This is definately my kind of humour: random, quirky and just a little bit wierd... If you haven't checked out his drawings, you must do so ASAP. I am in awe of how he comes up with some of his ideas. Completely original don't you think? Well, I know what my new favourite obsession is!
