This blog contains both my own and other people's photos. I do not claim any rights on the photos that aren't my own and I shall credit them when at all possible. However, if a photo of yours has been used and you would not like me to use them then feel free to flick me an email and I'll be happy to remove it.
Music music music has been taking over my life! Band practices, theory exam coming up, grade eight piano exam this year, two chamber music groups, music leader at school, church music, music competitions, master classes... argh! And still I don't get sick of it... Most of the time at least... I'll be away for the rest of the week and most of next week because I'm off to camp and then the beach house for a few days! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!
I recently discovered this little boutique the other day and I think it is one of the cutest, most amazingly decorated shops! Plus, it sells such pretty, delightful things. The Yellow Brick Road Boutique is a store that is filled with treasures such as gifts, homewares, jewellery and fashion. The shop is located in Auckland, 279 Parnell Rd, Auckland 1052. If I visit Auckland any time soon, I'll definately be popping in for a visit. But for any international readers, you can visit the website here where you can order anything online. Definately worthwhile to check it out!
So did I tell you it's my holidays? So now I can post every day again! Even though it's my holidays, I still have SO much homework to do! But there's still time to do other things like blog, hang out with friends etc... Thank goodness! These are some things that have been on my mind lately:
1. Thinking of sewing elbow patches on my striped jumper like this photo. I think elbow patches are such a cool detail! I saw an old man with elbow patches in town the other day and thought it looked quite retro. My friend thought it was just plain wierd haha!
2. Listening to Vampire Weekend (Listen to Oxford Comma. Rather catchy...)
Been looking for a good pair of Chelsea boots for a while now. Found these at Hannahs on sale, in my size and the perfect design! Usually whenever I find something at Hannahs that I like, they don't have my size so I think this must be fate! Can't wait to bring these home tomorrow...
Matching lips with jumper! Didn't realise it matched so well until after... Went to a 21st tonight and wore this jumper that I wore here the other day. And of course one of my favourite cameo rings...
I thought these photos went very nicely together... Feather jewellery reminds me of music festivals, summer, boho, sun, indie, stress free, maxi dresses...
I wore this in the weekend when I went out to the movies with some friends. I'm looking and feeling really gross at the moment since I'm sick... So not fun! I tried going to school today and it only lasted one spell until I felt like I was going to die and so now I'm back at home in bed. Only one more week of school left until the holidays! I can't wait! This term has been far too long...
The classic colours of white, black, brown and red always go with denim... My whole wardrobe seems to consist of these colours... They go with everything though!
P.s. how adorable are those collars?? Where can I get one of those?!
It's already the end of the weekend! Time has been going far too fast! It's already April which is kind of scary because I have SO much to do by the end of the school term. But enough of my ranting...
Had a bit of a quiet weekend... My friend taught me how to bake a cake. I know I know, baking a cake shouldn't be too hard should it? But believe you me, I am the most shocking baker in the world! It just doesn't seem to go right... so my friend endeavoured to teach me how to make a chocolate cake. And it actually turned out pretty good! Only the edges were a little bit burnt... It was rather a big accomplishment for me...
Kind of a basic outfit today. Although I wanted to show you my new(ish) bag. I had been looking for a new everyday bag. But it needed to be the right size and right slouchyness and I wanted to have a satchel as well. So when I stumbled along this bag in a Sportsgirl sale for only $20, I couldn't have been more happy! Plus, it was the last one there yay!

In other news, it would be absolutely amazing of you if you could pretty please watch this video! My friend in my music class has entered a competition for Hitachi so that she can win $10 000. Thanks SO much!
